-Establish new prayer efforts, within and between co-sponsoring organizations

This is a group representing all co-sponsoring organizations that meets periodically to be updated about the Conference. These individuals then report on progress, build enthusiasm, and spearhead promotions in their congregations; Individuals on the Sponsoring Committee may also help on Conference logistics and volunteer at the conference.

There will also be a smaller Steering Committee that will spear head Conference logistics. Some if not most of the steering committee membership will be drawn from the Sponsoring Committee. A steering Committee Chair will be responsible to form a Conference Steering Committee from interested volunteers.

Provide start-up funds for the conference promotions and other expenses:

----suggested amounts: 2-300 person congregations: $50 to $200

301 to 800 person congregation: $201 to $400

801 to 1,200 person congregation $401 to $750

1201 and larger person congregation: $751 to $1,500

Provide scholarships for co-sponsoring congregation’s own members;

---an amount equal to 1/3 to 2/3 of the full conference registration price

To Congregational/organizational membership by:

--preparing members for the Conference through Sunday morning sermons and other

teachings;

--making announcements from the platform on Sunday morning and during other

services;

--placing and distributing bulletin/service leaflet announcements and inserts;

--promoting in weekly/monthly newsletters and other publications; and

--working creatively to encourage members to attend.

To other organizations with which the co-sponsor is familiar through

--making announcements at ministerial, church and other association/denomination

meetings;

--placing announcements in denominational newsletters and other publications;

And

--meeting with other Christian leaders to share about the Conference and encouraging

additional co-sponsorship.
